Santoor Scholarship Programme 2023-24: This year, Wipro launched the eighth edition of ‘Santoor Scholarship Programme’ for young women. Wipro Cares and Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting Group together have been supporting the education of close to 6,000 young women over the last seven years through the Santoor Scholarship Programme.
The Santoor Scholarship program is an initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares. The program intends to financially support girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. Launched in 2016-17, the program offers support to 1800 students every year, across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh. Santoor's 8th edition of Santoor Women's Scholarship Program 2023 has been announced by Wipro Industries. Notification has been released inviting Online applications for the Rs 24,000 Scholarship from Girl Students. Initiated in 2016-17, the programme offers support to 1800 students every year, across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Chhatisgarh. Under this programme, young women can avail INR 24,000 per annum until the completion of their degree program.Santoor Women Scholarship 2023 is a recurring annual program and the selected students are supported for the duration of their higher education. The Santoor Women's Scholarship is being offered by Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares with an objective to support and encourage young women to pursue higher education in the field of humanities, liberal arts and sciences.
